On the show today is Arvid Kahl. Arvid previously founded and sold FeedbackPanda, a SaaS that helps online school teachers handle student feedback, wrote the book Zero to Sold, and is now working on another book called The Embedded Entrepreneur.
The thing I love about Arvid is that he always speaks from experience. Whatever he says or advises, he's done. He's a great source of wisdom on bootstrapping, SaaS, and building an audience.
You'll hear about why an audience-driven approach to building a business is a much better way to establish trust and build a validated product or service, the marketing strategies for FeedbackPanda, the launch strategy for Zero to Sold and The Embedded Entrepreneur, and I even play devil's advocate a bit and debate some criticisms of this kind of approach.
